What is aura photography?

Aura photography, also known as Kirlian Photography, is a form of photography that aims to capture the subtle energy field, or aura, around a person. Everything has an energy field, including your pets!

Here at Dragon Fire Studios, we use a camera and biofeedback hand sensor to capture your aura photo. Your aura photo includes a portrait as well as a photo of your energy body which shows your chakras. Our hand sensor reads the electrical impulses from your hands that correspond to your chakras. These impulses are translated through computer software into visual data which assigns colors to different frequencies that are layered around your energy body in the photograph.

Each aura photo at Dragon Fire Studios includes:

What do the colors in my aura photo mean?

Each color in your aura photo corresponds to your chakras, or energy centers. The colors of your aura are like a language, and our in-depth reading translates the story of your colors in such a way that you gain a deep understanding of your energy’s movement.

Simplified, there are seven primary chakras in the body with corresponding colors that may illuminate in your aura photo:

1. Root Chakra (Red) – Located at the base of the spine, it represents stability, security, and our basic needs. It’s associated with survival instincts and grounding.

2. Sacral Chakra (Orange) – Found just below the navel, it’s linked to emotions, creativity, relationships and sensuality.

3. Solar Plexus Chakra (Yellow) – Located in the stomach area, it’s associated with intention, mental clarity, and willpower.

4. Heart Chakra (Green) – Positioned in the center of the chest, it’s about love, compassion, and seeing the world without judgment.

5. Throat Chakra (Blue) – Located at the throat, it governs communication, expression, truth and justice.

6. Third Eye Chakra (Violet) – Situated between the eyebrows, it relates to intuition, insight, and perception.

7. Crown Chakra (White) – Positioned at the top of the head, it’s connected to spiritual connection, enlightenment, and unity with the universe.

What are chakras?

Chakras are energy centers in the body, originating from ancient Indian spiritual and healing traditions. Each chakra is associated with a specific color. The activation of certain chakras is what creates the unique blend of colors in your aura photo.

Each of us has one chakra that we treat as a “home-base” throughout our life. It is our main power center, the place where we access the most energy used to create our world.

Each chakra vibrates at a different frequency and direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise). Chakras can become "blocked" or "overactive," which can be seen in your aura photo. Your in-depth reading will empower you with the steps to find more energetic alignment.
